What Is FOX iQS?

To ensure you have the most comfort and performance, FOX Academy recommends changing your shock settings to best reflect your current expectations, driving style, terrain, and vehicle set up. At times, this means changing shock settings multiple times a minute. 

Traditional shocks with adjusters require getting out or off of your vehicle to make adjustments, so making adjustments multiple times a minute is simply not possible. In these cases, you need to compromise and adjust your shocks to the best average setting for what you will encounter in a given time frame. This is one of the many skills that tuners possess.

But with Intelligent Quick Switch (iQS), you possess an electronically controlled, on-the-fly shock adjustment system that adjusts all shocks simultaneously via the push of a button in your cockpit. Bonus: from the time you click the iQS switch, it takes less than a second for all your shocks to be simultaneously adjusted.

Adjusting your shocks all the time, at any time just became viable. The full functionality and adjustment range of your shocks are literally at your fingertips.

iQS is currently available for Polaris 800/850 Pro-RMK REACT and Ski-Doo Summit (REV GEN4) snowmobiles, Jeep Wrangler JKs, and Can-Am Maverick UTVs.

The iQS video below focuses on our snowmobile application, but gives you an inside look at how the platform works in all applications.

The iQS system changes the base valve setting on all of your shocks simultaneously to the mode you have chosen with the iQS switch. When you press the iQS switch, it sends a signal to a Bosch SCU (Suspension Control Unit). The SCU then simultaneously powers the stepper motors at each shocks’ base valve to either allow or restrict oil flowing through the shocks. Again, this is all done in less than a second.

It’s quick. And you didn’t even have to leave the cockpit.

The electronic components are durable, too. The IP67 rating on all iQS electronic components means that you never need to worry about whether your shocks are waterproof enough for the snow, slush, or deep river crossings.

The Jeep Performance Series 2.0 iQS shock offers on-the-fly compression damping adjustment from inside the vehicle. The iQS 3-position rocker switch adjusts all four corners simultaneously between soft, medium, and firm.

The FOX Can-Am Maverick X3 iQS upgrade kit reuses your original equipment FOX 2.5/3.0 internal bypass shocks so you don’t need to buy entirely new shocks.  But if you’ve already upgraded to our aftermarket FOX Factory Race Series shocks (885-08-119 and 885-08-121), you can use those with the iQS upgrade, too.
